The idea for FrontRunner started on the sidelines. As a dedicated sports dad and youth coach, our co-founder Caleb, saw firsthand how the magic of sports was often buried under mountains of logistical chaos.

Between missed emails and texts, conflicting schedules, miscommunication with parents and players, the hardest part of coaching wasn't teaching the skills, it was the administrative headache. Caleb realized that if we want kids to fall in love with sports, we have to fix the broken systems behind the scenes.

Caleb’s mission to modernize these archaic processes revealed a surprising truth: these gaps weren’t just in youth leagues. From collegiate programs to professional organizations, the sports world was operating on disjointed tools that left everyone frustrated.

That’s when he met Dylan. Growing up as a competitive athlete, Dylan lived the player’s side of the problem. He knew the frustration of missing crucial updates and the confusion of not having a centralized "source of truth" for his team.
